In spirit, he's reminiscent of the late, great, Thomas McGrath.

James Bertolino, Sniper Logic VI, Boulder, Colorado

Steve Miller might've coined the term 'Space Cowboy' to be applied directly to this guy.

Rich Mangelsdorff, The Redneck Review of Literature, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Under the empty moon
We get to watch
The dead running backwards
In their grade B movie of time.
Their once lively images
In the quick lime of celluloid
Sucked back into the projector
And wound up with nitrite on their weenies.

Indian Summer rained out.
The dead will not fall down.
They march like an army
Of poets from the past.
Under the sacred skirt of literature,
Their abortions are fully performed.

The Dictatorship of the Environment

The dictatorship of the environment
Will be the final arbiter of
The future forms of life.

Because our assholes are behind us,
We'd hoped to leave our shit there too,
And move like Manifest Destiny,
Always forward into paradise.
